Vastint Poland has signed a lease agreement with the Polish branch of MKS, which supplies specialized chemical products and production technologies for surface preparation, treatment and coating under the Atotech brand. The company has leased 1,706 m2 of office space on the second floor of a building at 8 Pastelowa Street in Poznań, in the Vastint-managed part of the Business Garden complex.
Due to its dynamic growth, MKS has decided to lease space in the Business Garden complex to establish a new headquarters for its Competence Centre to support the organization in various functions such as finance, data analysis, procurement, HR, IT/SAP, audit and marketing, among others.
“We have decided to further develop MKS’ Competence Centre in Poznan because we are convinced of the high level of competence, education and experience of employees in the region,” says Goektuerk Simsekol, Head of MKS’ Atotech Competence Centre.
“The tenant began creation of the Competence Centre team a few months ago in a temporary space in Business Garden. Eventually, the company decided to rent an entire floor for the target headquarters of its newly established centre. I am convinced that an office in our complex will provide Atotech employees with excellent conditions for work and further development,” says Magdalena Makuch, Leasing Manager of Vastint Poland.
Business Garden Poznań, located in Poznan’s Grunwald district just a few minutes’ drive from the city centre and Poznań-Lawica airport, combines modern office functions with access to a range of amenities for tenants. The complex consists of nine buildings with a total leasable area of 88,000 m2 located in a garden setting with recreation and leisure zones.
The complex was designed in the spirit of sustainable development. Proper land use, the use of environmentally friendly materials for construction, and the use of raw materials and locally produced products, the implementation of solutions to reduce energy and water consumption, as well as the effective planning of functions in the property, to optimize space and ensure the right level of satisfaction in the use of office space are just some of the aspects considered in the project. All buildings have received LEED Platinum certification, confirming the environmentally friendly nature of the investment.
The first phase of the property, which includes four buildings on Kolorowa Street, was sold to an investment fund. Vastint is the owner and manager of the remaining five buildings, delivered as part of the second phase of the project.
