In January 2021, Vastint Lithuania signed the second largest lease agreement at Business Garden Vilnius. 1,110 m2 of office space has been leased to AB Amber Grid, operator of Lithuania’s natural gas transmission system.
“When choosing the new office, the energy efficiency of the building, proper use of office space, compliance with modern office standards, modern work environment motivating current and future employees and access to office complex benefits such as conference centres, parking lots, electric car parking spaces and bicycle storage facilities were important”, said Nemunas Biknius, the CEO of AB Amber Grid.
Business Garden Vilnius is conceived as a major new office and commercial hub in Vilnius, with a unique location near the historical centre whilst also being strategically situated at one of Vilnius’s main artery road junctions, with easy access to the city’s airport.
“The gas transmission system consists of more than two thousand kilometres of gas pipelines, almost 50 gas distribution and compressor stations, so it is very important for us to be mobile and quickly reach the nearest production and office premises on the outskirts of the capital and exit Vilnius to any other city of Lithuania where the objects managed by the company operate”, emphasized N.Biknius.
Kestutis Vedeckis, Managing Director of Vastint Lithuania states, “We are happy to welcome AB Amber Grid as our new tenant at Business Garden Vilnius. Accommodating the key needs of Lithuania’s second strategic energy company in our project proves that our chosen approach to focus on sustainable construction and energy-saving facilities has been highly valued by the most demanding companies”.
When finished, all stages of Business Garden Vilnius will create a new Vilnius business district with more than 120,000 m2 of new and modern office space, a wide offer of amenities and a well-designed green environment for recreation and sport activities.
