A topping out ceremony was held at the Business Garden construction site at Legnicka in Wrocław, marking the completion of works on the top floor of the structure. The completion date of the first phase of the project e.g. three out of nine planned office buildings and a restaurant is planned at the end of 2016.
“The completion of buildings based on approximately 23,000 m2 underground parking garage constructed using monolithic concrete construction technology took us 12 months. Taking into consideration the quantity of necessary construction materials, we used 43,000 m3 concrete, nearly 5,000 tons of steels and 5,895 pre-fabricated elements. In connection with the completion of the structure of the buildings, facade related, installation and fit out works will soon be commenced. The latter will executed on approximately 30,000 m2 of ceilings and floors,” says Remigiusz Jarmołkiewicz, Project Manager of Vastint Poland, the project developer.
The business park is being constructed at Legnicka street, near the shopping and entertainment centre Magnolia and the Mikołajów railway station, close to the center of Wrocław. The first three buildings comprising the complex are located on the part of the plot at Jaworska street and the railway tracks.
Ultimately, the project will consist of nine office and retail buildings which, along with the surrounding garden, will be located on a plot with an area of 7 hectares. The total leasable area will amount to 110,000 m2. A restaurant and relaxation zones are planned in the garden within the complex. The first three buildings with a leasable area of approximately 35,000 m2 are scheduled to be commissioned at the end of 2016.
The key solutions in the buildings comprising the Wrocław complex are aimed to create a comfortable and pleasant working environment for tenants. Water and energy saving solutions, internal environment control system and carefully selected construction materials meet the environmentally friendly development principles and LEED certification standards. The investor plans to obtain a LEED Platinum certificate for all buildings.
